RIFA Awards — Inviting Nominations

We are here to celebrate the artists who rose from the dunes to the stars. RIFA (Rajasthan Impact and Fame Award) honours artists who are pushing creative boundaries while keeping our heritage alive.

If you know a performer, creator, or cultural champion who shines with authenticity and excellence, nominate them for the RIFA Awards.

Nominations are open to individuals and groups from traditional and contemporary fields — whether they perform in village courtyards or on global stages.

Eligibility

Nominees can be individuals, duos, troupes, or collectives.
Works or sustained practice must have taken place in the last 3 years (or show long-term contribution for Lifetime awards).
Open to artists from Rajasthan and outside who actively work with Rajasthani traditions.
Self-nominations accepted. Nominators may be peers, cultural organisations, or audience members.

Nomination criteria (what the judges look for)

Authenticity and respect for tradition.
Artistic excellence and creativity.
Impact on community or cultural preservation.
Innovation in presentation or cross-cultural dialogue.
For Emerging categories: promise, originality, and potential for growth.

How to nominate — quick steps

Scroll to the nomination form.
Fill nominee details: name, category, contact info, short bio (100–200 words).
Provide 1–3 supporting links (video, audio, images, website) or upload files.
Add a short nominator statement: why this person/group deserves the award (150 words max).
Submit. You’ll receive a confirmation email and a tracking ID.

Nominations open: 1 October 2025
Nominations close: 10 December 2025
Shortlist announced: 15 December 2025
Awards and Festival: 21 December 2025 (Main ceremony and performances)

Judging process

A 3-stage process: eligibility check → expert jury review.
Jury comprises industry professionals.
Judging focuses on artistic merit, cultural significance, and impact.
Decisions of the jury are final.

What to include in your nomination?

Nominee name and contact details.
Short biography (100–200 words).
Category for nomination. You may nominate the same person in up to 2 categories (explain suitability).
Supporting media (links or uploads). Minimum: 1 sample work (video/audio/photo).
Nominator contact details and relationship to nominee.
Any previous awards or notable performances (optional).

Tips for a strong nomination

Choose high-quality audio/video links (YouTube/Google Drive).
Use timestamps for key clips.
In the nominator statement, highlight specific impacts and anecdotes.
For community projects, include measurable outcomes (audience reach, etc.).

Q: Is there a nomination fee?
A: Yes. A nominal fee of Rs. 100 is to be paid; it will be refunded within a month of the completion of the event.

A: Contact the RIFA team with your tracking ID; edits may be allowed before the deadline.

Q: Are nominations anonymous?
A: No — nominee and nominator details are required for verification.
